Other full times:

East Thurrock 0-1 Lowestoft Town

Tilbury 2-0 Erith & Belvedere

Not the most sporting play in the world from Thurrock but they did what was needed. Won about five free kicks in the last two minutes as they held the ball in the corner.

Thurrock 2-1 Aveley

Thurrock have won a free kick deep in Aveley territory. Should see the game out.

Thurrock keeping the ball ell in the circumstances. They have played brilliantly in the last 20 minutes. Must say I didn't see it coming.

Four minutes added on.

Aveley have thrown leads aWay against Tilbury and Soham Town Rangers in past weeks. Justin Gardner will be fuming if the score stays the same.

Jordan Clark outmuscled Leader against all the odds but sees his shot pushed away by Giddens. The keeper has someway to go before making up for his error though.

Loui Hazelwood is booked.

A plethora of fierce tackles flying in. Jordan Clark is pulled up for a foul on Leader.

Terrific quick freekick by Lewwes Spence spots the run on Hazelwood. His shot is blocked behind when he looked destined to score.

Aveley substitution - Spencer Harrison off Jason Twum on. Going for it now!

Stimson is fouled by Okwera. Stays down and is receiving treatment.

Incredible five minutes. Didn't see that coming.

Unbelievable turn around. The ball is hoofed up into the air from a set piece and as Stimson challenges the keeper his attempted punch hits the front man and goes in! Calamity for Giddens and Aveley.

Thurrock take the lead!!!

Inevitable after what I said.

Lewis Perkins nets for Fleet after great closing down from Jordan Clark. Jay Leader's clearance is blocked by Clark who squares for Perkins to tap in.

Thurrock equalise!!

Aveley look happy to sit on this one goal lead. Risky strategy but their back line looks solid.

Aveley substitution - Rashid Kamara off Arron Gayle on

Jordan Clark stays on his feet when Holloway dives in. If he had hit the deck the he could easily have got a penalty. Not that I am condoning diving of course.

Thurrock cranking up the pressure with Perkins straight into the thick of it but Aveley stand strong.

Thurrock substitution - Bradley Warner off Lewis Perkins on

Aveley substitution - Michael Begg off Junior Appiah on

Kamara with another through ball but Nesbitt hits wide at the near post from a tight angle. Difficult chance.

Thurrock trying to make inroads but no luck so far. Nesbitt wins a freekick for his side relieving some pressure.

Hazelwood tries to trick his defender but his left foot shot is driven away from goal. Goal kick.

Jordan Clark switching from right to left for Thurrock in a bid to find some crossing space but he is being shut down very quickly. Well drilled Aveley back line tonight.

Thurrock substitution - Rob Clark is replaced by Loui Hazelwood.

Tajbakhsh given far too much space in the middle of the field and only a last minute block by Gilman stops his shot. Great block.

Stimson needs to be careful. He is on a booking and a late tackle on Harrison sees him get a talking to. Thurrock can't afford to go a man down.

Aveley have come out with renewed vigour and are looking likely to add to their lead at this stage.

A brilliant ball between defender Rob Gilman and right back Lewis Clark by Kamara finds the run of Wall who slots in at the near post.

Ross Wall scores for Aveley!!

Holloway given far too much time to cross by Fleet and the ball is only cleared in front of goal thanks to a last minute tackle on Harrison.

Here we go again.

Teams out for the second half.

Other HT scores:

East Thurrock 0-0 Lowestoft Town

Tilbury 1-0 Erith & Belvedere

Thurrock 0-0 Aveley

Two minutes of additional time. Maybe half time will freshen these two sides up. Something needs to happen.

Charlie Stimson booked for something he said.

Charlie Stimson booked for something he said.

Okwera has been very impressive in midfield for Aveley. Despite there being no chances at all he has been a pleasure to watch.

Nesbitt's delivery is poor and Thurrock come away with the ball.

Begg, Wall and Kallon combine well down the right to win a corner.

Holloway's resulting free kick is tipped aside by Ottley. Very decent effort. Corner comes to nothing.

Holloway's resulting free kick is tipped aside by Ottley. Very decent effort. Corner comes to nothing.

Kamara is brought down cynically when running through. Ben Smith is booked for the foul. First foul so slightly harsh.

Best effort of the match. Stimson running at Leader and his right footed shot from 20 yards flies just over at the near post. Great effort.

Aveley on top now but neither side really troubled the goalkeeper so far.

Wall goes in at the near post but his header goes behind under pressure from Ottley.

Begg with a freekick for Aveley from the right. Takes a deflection and Millers have a corner. Cleared.

Some decent play around the box but no chances of note yet.

Jordan Clark seems to be the out all for Fleet. Always an option although often doubled up on by Nesbitt and Holloway. Good work from Nesbitt helping out his full back.

Thurrock freekick 20 yards out after a foul by Tajbakhsh but ball is cleared. Aveley counter but Otley comes flying out of his box to head clear. Good 'keeping.

Stimson and Jordan Clark link up really well but the cross is headed clear by Okwera. Thurrock come again and Rob Clark smashes over from 25 yards.

Giddens jumps to claim but totally misses the ball! Warner jumps but can't convert under pressure.

Aveley coming into the game with Leader and Holloway huge figures at the back. Dangerous from set plays.

Begg and Kamara's touch has deserted them in the early stages. Thurrock much more calm in possession. Aveley look to counter up the park but Begg over hits his cross. Goal kick.

Thurrock knocking it around very nicely early on. Aveley can't get near the ball. Okwera and Wall haven't had a touch.

Chance for Stimson as his hooked shot goes over from eight yards. Great chance. Aveley wall crumbled.

Nurudeen and Lewwis Spence square up after Fleet are awarded an attacking free kick.

Warner is brilliantly tackled by Leader as Thurrock continue early possession. Would have been a penalty if he had got that wrong. Corner is cleared.

Thurrock looking to make early inroads down the right with Jordan Clark but he is well marshalled and the ball is cleared.

Looks like Nesbitt is playing more advanced this evening. He is lining up ahead of Holloway for Millers.

Stimson is pulled up for a late tackle. Free kick to be taken by Giddens inside his own half.

Slightly late kick off but here we go. Aveley kick off.

Teams are out. Thurrock in green and yellow. Aveley all in red.

Neil West is the man in the middle for this derby match. Could be feisty judging by comments before the match.

Hearing on the grapevine a Championship scout may be here tonight.

First impressions are a strong Aveley side with plenty in reserve on the bench. Pack widemen Appiah and Twum great options to come on later in the game.

The three goalscoring Clarks retain their places for Thurrock. All found the net last weekend.

Welcome to the live text coverage of this Ryman North Division derby between Thurrock and Aveley.
This historic match is the first ever league meeting between the two sides, despite their grounds being only one mile apart.
Fleet, who lie in 11th place, come into the match off the back of a weekend win against Waltham Forest, although their form has been far from consistent.
Aveley started the season on fire, winning five of their first six games but the Millers have lost their last four (three in the league) to leave them 7th in the division.

The fire was stoked before the match when Thurrock chairman Tommy South said in an interview on a Dutch website, "we have no relationship with Aveley” before going onto say that East Thurrock are “nice, fair people.”
Millers club secretary, Craig Johnson, responded by saying “I am disappointed with the comments from Thurrock FC, although I would think they may have been mixed up in translation."
“If not then I am surprised by the lack of respect shown towards my club, but we won't take it to heart as we are more professional in our conduct than that.”
