Waste station bid put in
7:20am Monday 16th September 2013 in News
AN asbestos waste station could be built in Chadwell St Mary after a proposal was put to Thurrock Council.
The application to build a waste transfer station, in Sandy Lane, would be set among other industrial units. The facility would mainly be aimed at small tradesmen and home owners looking to dispose of waste.
No more than 15 tonnes of asbestos would be kept at any one time.
A decision by Thurrock Council is pending.
