Work on new estate gets under way
7:20am Sunday 8th September 2013 in News
WORK has started on a contentious housing development in Aveley.
The Village - as it is being marketed - located just off the Aveley bypass, will comprise 340 one and two bedroom apartments and three and four bedroom homes.
The development was the subject of strong oppostion by residents before plans were approved by Thurrock Council earlier this year.
Persimmon Homes are putting section 106 money into developing a community centre, the provision of local bus services and parking.
Persimmon Homes Essex sales director, Norman Sharpe, said: “We are very excited about our latest development in Aveley and prospective buyers are advised to register on the website to ensure that they are kept up to date with progress.
“Customers who register and visit the development as early as possible will also have the benefit of being able to secure their preferred property and location within the development prior to general release.”
A marketing suite is due this autumn and a range of incentives will be available to help buyers on to the property ladder or take their next step in the market through a number of schemes.
