FURTHER A13 roadworks could affect drivers over the next week.
Roadworks on the A13/A1014 Manorway, in Stanford-le-Hope, means diversions will be in place for drivers using the roundabout. Contractors J Murphy & Sons Ltd have been widening the roundabout from two lanes to three to increase its capacity.
On Monday, September 9, the London-bound off slip road will be diverted from 5am for 24 hours. Motorists will again have to use the Orsett Cock Roundabout and return to the A1014 junction via the Southend-bound carriageway.
An overnight diversion will be put in place on the The Manorway on Saturday, September 7 between 5pm and 4am the following day. Drivers wishing to travel along the eastbound road will be directed down the A1013 Stanford Road onto the London Road to Stanford-le-Hope. Via Church Hill Road and Corringham Road, motorists will rejoin the A1014 Manorway at the following roundabout.
The following night, an overnight diversion of the westbound carriage of The Manorway between 5pm and 4am on Monday morning will direct vehicles down the Corringham Road, Church Hill Road and the London Road, drivers will follow the A1013 Stanford Road eastbound to the A13/A1014 junction.
Between 5am on Tuesday, September 10 and 5am the following day the A1013 Stanford Le Hope will be diverted down the London-bound A13 to the Orsett Cock roundabout before returning via the Southend-bound carriageway.
On Wednesday, September 11, the London-bound on slip road will be diverted from 5am for 24 hours. Motorists will be directed to the next junction at Five Bells and return to the Stanford-le-Hope junction via the London-bound A13.
