Foundation to remember Anthonia
7:00am Thursday 29th August 2013 in News
A CHARITY foundation has been set up for a Grays teenager, one year on from her tragic death.
Anthonia Afelumo died in September 2012 of a rare blood disease that causes the blood to clot. She was 18 and had just got top marks in her health and social care BTEC extended diploma at Palmer’s College, in Grays.
A year on, her mother Fola has arranged a charity walk tomorrow (Saturday, August 31) and a gospel music and an anniversary service on Sunday, September 1.
The charity day will have charity and music events and see the launch of the Anthonia Oyindamola Folakemi Afelumo-Coshare (AOFA-C) foundation.
The events will be held at the House of Praise, Queensgate Centre, Grays.
For further information, call Fola on 07985 421726.
