TV COMIC Bobby Davro is coming to Orsett Hall.

Fresh from appearing on ITV’s Your Face Sounds Familiar earlier this year – where he was eliminated in week five after his rendition of Paul McCartney’s I Want To Hold Your Hand – the former EastEnders actor will be at the Thurrock hotel for an evening of fun and laughter.

Last year, Bobby performed at the Circus Tavern, but the event at Orsett Hall, on Tuesday, September 17, is likely to be a more intimate affair.

The 54-year-old shot to fame in the Eighties and Nineties with his ITV shows Bobby Davro on the Box and Bobby Davro’s TV Annual.

He went on to make and contribute to several more sketch shows, but in recent years has appeared on shows such as Dancing on Ice in 2010, where he was eliminated in the second week after a dance-off with Gary Lucy.

Bobby also spent a year on EastEnders, joining the cast as Vinnie Monks in 2007. He left the BBC soap in the autumn of 2009 to “pursue other avenues”.

Tickets to see him at Orsett Hall are priced at £20. Doors open at 7pm and the show will start at 9pm. Drinks will be served to tables with a late bar also available.
