FIRST-TIME mum Reneta Wlodarczyk was delighted to welcome Sara into the world on the same day as the Duchess of Cambridge gave birth.

Sara was born at 4.15am, eight days overdue, weighing 7lb 110z, at Basildon Hospital.

She was the first child for Polish mum Reneta, 27, and husband Emaad, who is half Iraqi. The family live in Hampton Road, Grays.

Reneta said: “I’m just so happy. It was a very difficult labour, but it’s worth it to see my lovely little girl.

“I didn’t expect to give birth the same day as the Princess, I couldn’t believe it when we found out later in the evening.

"I can’t wait to get my commemorative silver coin, it will be a lovely way to mark the occasion and remember the special day.”

When Lakhbr Paul was joking with colleagues that her baby would be born the same day as the future King, she didn’t expect it to become reality.

Mahi was born at 11.12am on her due date, weighing 6lb 3oz.

She is the first child for Lakhbr, 24, and husband Nandip Bhatra, who live in Saxton Close, Grays.

Maisie Wheeler stayed put for six days longer than expected to make sure she arrived on the same day as the future king.

Her mum, Tracey Wheeler, 26, was rushed to Basildon Hospital on Monday night after hearing about the news the Royal Baby had been born.

She gave birth at 9pm – just three minutes after arriving on the maternity ward.

Maisie is the forth child for Tracey, from Aveley, who is also mum to Paige, eight, Brooke, five and 11-month-old Jake.

She said: “It’s really nice to know my baby was born on the same day as the future King.

“As soon as I heard in the morning that Kate had gone into labour, I had a feeling my little girl was going to come as well.

“By the time I arrived in hospital, I already knew the Royal Baby was here, so I was just glad my labour was so quick and she made it in time!”

Maisie, who was expected on July 16, weighed 7lb 8oz.
