TWO men from Purfleet have been arrested after they were discovered inside the boundaries of the RSPB Rainham Marshes Nature Reserve.
Police were alerted to suspicious activity at the RSPB Centre on New Tank Hill Road, Purfleet at around 11.40pm on Monday, July 22. Local officers and the police heliopter attended the scene to search for suspicious activity and found the men on site.
Two men were arrested on suspicion of being found on enclosed premises and although the search continued for two other men nobody was discovered.
The two men, aged 18 and 19, remain in police custody.
