Charitable supermarket helps school

The presentation The presentation

A SUPERMARKET in Chafford Hundred has given hundreds of pounds to a primary school.

Sainsbury’s applied for a community grant on behalf of Quarry Hill Primary School in Grays and was successful.

The school accepted the £500, which will pay for four listening and recording players used for learning languages, creative writing and music.

Carole Eden, school HR manager, joined Liz Stevens, from Sainsbury’s, along with pupils for the presentation.
