Fostering in spotlight at event

PROSPECTIVE foster parents can find out more at an information event.
Thurrock Council is running the session at the Culver Centre, in South Ockendon, on Wednesday, February 27, from 9.30am until 11.30am.
The event is part of the authority’s annual private fostering campaign.
Private fostering is where a child under the age of 16, or 18 if disabled, is living with someone other than a parent, grandparent, aunt or uncle or sibling.
If a child lives with someone other than these for a period of 28 days or more then this is a private fostering arrangement.
