Pensioner charged after Grays crash

POLICE have charged a man with driving without due care and attention after a crash.

The collision involved two cars, a motorbike and a London Taxi in Southend Road, Grays. 

The biker was taken to Queens Hospital in Romford after sustaining a head injury. 

A 76-year-old man from Grays, who was driving a Honda, was arrested at the scene shortly after 9pm on Sunday, September 9. 

He has now been charged and will appear at Basildon Magistrates Court on March 7.
