A FORMER waste site has been transformed into a car repair centre.
The centre, in St Clement’s Way, West Thurrock, was brought back into use by Thurrock Council’s environment team.
Work on the council’s vehicles was previously carried out at its Curzon Drive depot in Grays, but the authority needed to expand.
Cllr Victoria Holloway visited the new site recently.
