Blackshots Lane set for part-closure

PART of Blackshots Lane in Grays will be closed for eight weeks following the collapse of a driveway in the road last month.
The road will be closed to all traffic between its junction with Wentworth Place and the entry to Blackshots Leisure Centre from Monday, January 28, while ground investigations and stabilisation is carried out by the insurance company of the house affected.
The 007, 11, 22, and 201 bus routes will be diverted along Long Lane and Windsor Avenue during the closure.
Blackshots Leisure Centre will remain open as normal.
