MP's fast food surgery!

THURROCK residents can pick up a slice of advice from their MP as they tuck into a burger at McDonald’s on Saturday.

Conservative MP Jackie Doyle-Price has taken the unusual step of holding her surgery for constituents in the Lakeside retail park branch of the fast food restaurant.

She will be at McDonald’s between 10.30am and noon with her team.

The MP said: “If you are from Thurrock and have a problem that I might be able to help with, then just pop along and I will be happy to discuss.”

For more information, call Jackie’s office on 01375 802029, or email Jackie.doyleprice.mp@parliament.uk

This just about sums her up! Jackie Doyle-Price is a complet waste of space and her popularity in Thurrock is poor. Mention her name to anyone in Thurrock and they never have a good thing to say about her - and rightly so.

"We're all in this together" this useless, rotten government. Clearly, we're not.

It's no wonder Jackie Doyle-Price is hated by many Thurrock residents when she expects us to feel sorry for the greedy and corrupt bankers. She also voted in favour of a 3p petrol increase last year and voted in favour of the appalling 1% benefit increase.

The sooner this woman - and this Mickey Mouse government - are voted out, the better.

I suggest Jackie Doyle-Price takes her colleague Eric Pickles along with her tomorrow and the pair of them could have a Big Mac eating contest.

It is amusing to think that there are those who think a Labour govt would have been any different. The MP would have still had to vote on things that no one likes, that's the pay off of being an MP.
There's an interesting side to this idea of going into McD, in that there are probably more people going in there who might wnat to have a whinge than at a more formal setting.
The comment about investment bankers ignores the main fact that the last govt did nothing to try and rein them in and then blamed them for creating the mess we are in. Also these investment bankers were only doing their job and getting the performance bonuses that go with it.

The last government planned to regulate the banks but the Tories went against it. Now the Tories are blaming the last Labour government - something which they're good at.
