Fostering team head to Lakeside

THURROCK’S fostering team will be at Lakeside Shopping Centre from Monday to Sunday.

The team will be on the main concourse on the first floor between Marks & Spencer and WH Smith, giving advice to anyone interested in becoming a foster carer.


On Wednesday they will be joined by representatives from the council’s shared Care and befriending team, from 10am to 4pm, who will be telling people how they can help make a difference to child or young person’s life by becoming a carer or be-friender.
