Doctor's medical centre bid
7:00am Friday 18th January 2013 in News
PLANS for a new medical centre have been submitted to Thurrock Council.
The Sorrells Healthcare Development, which also includes a 31-bed care home, would be at the former Graham James Infant School site, in Corringham, which the council sold to Dr V C Devaraja for £520,000.
The plan is for the centre to offer a host of services including minor surgery, phlebotomy, physiotherapy, midwifery clinics and retinal screening.
Dr Devaraja currently runs The Sorrells Surgery from a converted three bedroom house and is looking to extend.
