Grays women handed ASBOs after campaign of neighbour harassment

TWO women who harassed neighbours in Grays for more than a year have been slapped with ASBOs.

Kelly Curson, 34, and Tara McGregor, 37, were issued with the three year anti social behaviour orders at Basildon Magistrates Court on Friday.

The court heard neighbours in Springfield Road had first complained about Curson’s behaviour in October 2011, after she subjected them to loud music at different times throughout the day and night.

However, the problems escalated last year, with Curson and McGregor responsible for many instances of anti-social behaviour, including shouting, swearing and fighting in the street.

Fed up neighbours complained their children’s school work was suffering because of the disturbances, and one parent had even had to go and stay with a relative to escape the noise.

Curson and McGregor now face restrictions on contacting specific neighbours, and associating with each other in the area in and around Springfield Road, Little Thurrock.

To report anti-social behaviour to Thurrock Council, call 01375 652211 or to Essex Police on 101.

Thoroughly nice ladies they sound as well. Probably the neighbour's besmirching their reputations.
