Cambridge and Counties Bank has become a corporate member of the LABA (Leicestershire Asian Business Association).
Jaspal Singh Minhas President of LABA said, “British Asian businesses have had tough times in dealing with the high street banks in the recession, even though as a community we gave all of them solid custom be it business, personal and mortgage business for decades”.
“I am absolutely delighted that a brand new bank has decided to open their second branch outside Cambridge in Leicester, they are supporting LABA’s members by becoming our corporate member”.
Simon Lindley the Bank’s Business Development Manager for Leicestershire said, “The Asian business community is an important customer base for us. Prior to our formal launch in Leicester, we had already committed some 65% or our lending to local Asian businesses. Working in partnership with LABA the bank is committed to a legacy based partnership for mutual benefit”.
