NGAGE is holding its annual Christmas fun night on Wednesday (December 12).
The event, at the Civic Hall, in Blackshots Lane, Grays, starts at 4pm and is on until 7.30pm, and includes free entertainment, craft and play activities for children, as well as mince pies and refreshments, and a festive market.
Father Christmas is also expected to stop by on his sleigh with a free present for children aged under 10 – the first 200 children will be eligible.
Jacqui Payne, Ngage’s programme manager, said: “Everyone is surprised when we say our Christmas event and activities and refreshments are free.
“Everyone has such a great time and it is full of surprises.
“We have AJ the children’s entertainer, face painting, balloon modelling, craft activities and a great colouring competition for children. There is a silent disco and we are hoping people will have a dance as it is sure to be fun. “We also have a free raffle to win Lakeside vouchers and a hamper of Christmas goodies.”
The event will also offer information about work going on in the community, including the achievements of community and voluntary groups and how people can get involved in their local area.
