Witnesses sought for fatal crash

WITNESSES are sought to a fatal crash on the A13 near Stanford-le-Hope.
A Rover 25 struck a stationary lorry in a layby off the westbound carriageway shortly before 11am last Wednesday.
The driver, 83-year-old Frederick Kemp, from Point Road, Canvey island, was certified dead at the scene.
Anyone with inmformation about the crash is urged to call Essex Police’s serious collision investigation unit of 101 or email collisionappeal@esseex.pnn.police.uk.
