AN evening for potential adoption families is being held next week.
There is a desperate need for more people to come forward to adopt, and it is hoped National Adoption Week will provide an inspiration for people to come forward.
Partners in Adoption – the consortium for adoption in Thurrock, Havering and Southend – is looking for families for all children, but especially minority ethnic children, sibling groups, older children and the disabled.
The information evening starts at 6.30pm on Wednesday, November 14, at Orsett Hall, in Prince Charles Avenue.
A presentation will last between 60 and 90 minutes.
