A NEW 1990s night is set to be launched at a venue described as one of Thurrock’s “best kept secrets”.

The event, called Push It, will be for over-21s and held at the newly opened Euro Lounge in London Road.

It aims to bring some of decades big names to Thurrock, with the first being DJ Lindy Layton, pictured, of Beats International who, along with Fatboy Slim, went to number one with the smash hit hit Dub Be Good To Me.

Kicking off at 9pm and finishing at 2am, the music on offer will be classic 1980s and 90s R n’ B and dance.

Promoter Stu Whiffen said: “The Euro Lounge is one of Thurrock’s best kept secrets.

“It’s a stunning venue with two rooms and VIP suite, too.

“We are really excited about this night and bringing Lindy in will be a start of more names being brought into Thurrock to perform for the over-21s party goers.”

Tickets are available on the door.
