Tilbury woman left counting the cost of noise nuisance
4:56pm Tuesday 30th October 2012 in News
A TILBURY woman who played loud music has been ordered to pay costs of more than £1,000.
Raquel Docking, 20, of Tasmania House, Hobart Road, breached a noise abatement notice and failed to appear before magistrates at Basildon on Monday, October 29.
Docking was convicted in her absence after magistrates heard she failed to control the volume of loud music from her property, flouting a noise abatement notice.
On the night of July 13 this year out of hours officers from Thurrock Council’s Environmental Protection team had witnessed amplified music from the third floor flat, which was played at such a high volume that it was clearly audible in Hobart Road.
Docking was fined £600 and ordered to pay £924 in costs.

Why do these people think they are perfectly entitled to blast their crappy music until all hours just because they haven't got to get up for work the next day. But let's all be perfectly clear, she'll never pay the fine.
