Husband and wife show is out of its mind

VISUAL mentalists Ian Hamilton and wife Elisa are hoping to take the Thameside Theatre by storm next month.

The duo are bringing their unique brand of magic, mind reading, psychic speed-painting and shadowgraphy to Grays with their Entertaining The Mind show on Friday, November 16, from 7.30pm.

Ian and Elisa have travelled the world with their show in theatres and on cruise ships and are particularly excited about coming to Grays, as it is near where they live in Upminster.

Ian, 38, said: “This is a unique opportunity for us to come and perform near where I spent the first years of my life.

“It will certainly be a pleasure to be able to share a night of entertainment in an area so close to my heart.

“We normally perform at private corporate events or abroad, and family and friends are always asking us when they can come and see us, so we were looking for a local venue and the Thameside Theatre is ideal.”

Ian has been practising magic since he got his first set for Christmas at the age of 11.

He met Elisa, who is Spanish, while working as an entertainer on a cruise ship.

They started dating and before long, performing together as a full-time career.

A spokesman for Entertaining The Mind said: “The show promises to create an unforgettable night of wonder and enjoyment.

“Their unique entertaining presentation makes this show a must see.”
