Two hurt in fireworks drama

TWO young men were hospitalised after playing around with a firework.

The Ambulance Service was called to Sydney Road, in Tilbury, at 8.05pm last Wednesday, where they found one man with burnt eyelids and another with a hand injury.

After treatment by paramedics, the men were taken to Basildon Hospital.

An ambulance service spokesman said: “This incident has highlighted the dangers associated when playing around with fireworks.

"Both were very lucky to not have received serious injuries and we urge the public to stay safe and treat fireworks with respect.”

I agree, probably not and now they have "war wounds" to show how brave they were pratting around with a firework!

Maybe one day our country will start charging idiots like this for wasting time and resources that could have been put to better use elsewhere!
