Arthur Bugler youngsters at the Port of Tilbury
PUPILS from a school in Stanford-le-Hope were given a rare chance to see equipment from the London 2012 Olympic Games in storage at the Port of Tilbury.
Youngsters in Year 6 at Arthur Bugler were allowed into the maximum security area at the port, where what remains of the equipment is being stored before being shipped to Glasgow for the 2014 Commonwealth Games.
Headteacher Ms Phillips said: “They said it was a day they will always remember.”
