LAUGHS will be improvised as comedy troupe Los Desperados return for a second night at Southend’s Alex pub.

They launched their improvised comedy and sketch show in April to such success that it’s back on Sunday with another instalment of its unique humour.

The troupe – Luke Mason, Lee Tearrell, Ross Bishop, John Oakes, Ali James and James Cranfield – will entertain with a blend of comical situations and sketches.

Luke says: “Following the massive success of our first show, we’re putting on another night of Los Desperados Live. We had a massive laugh and are aiming to do it all again.”

It’s a chance for comedy fans to get not only up close to the action, but as heavily involved as they like, throwing in suggestions and having a laugh. But you can take a back seat and just enjoy the humour, if you prefer.

The night sees the pub laid out like an auditorium, with a stage and rows of seats, although it’ll keep its intimate feel.

Los Desperados will be upstairs at the Alex, Alexandra Street, Southend, on Sunday, June 10. Doors open at 7.45pm for 8pm start. Entry is £4. Call 07553 213827 for more information.
