Platform Wii
Age 12+
Long, long titles seem to be all the craze at the moment. Take a deep breath. This is called One Piece Unlimited Cruise 1 The Treasure Beneath the Waves.
And breathe.
Darn popular game too, and it's easy to see why. This is on the Wii, so you are already one up on a quest to conquer a thousand seas. For some reason. Doesn't matter really.
The thing is you are going to have a blast doing it, especially with the Wiimotes.
A complex Japanese storyline helps drives this outing along, All you need to know is that you have to defeat hordes of bad guys who stand in your way.
Heated battles, manga characters, strange characters, strange events, odd moves, unique islands. They are all going to combine to create a typically far eastern feel, which many absolutely love.
The Japanese do like their stories of ancients and mystery. Cults and traditions with plenty of sword play and massive populations all willing to end it all on the end of a Samurai's weapon.
A good example is your base. It's called Thousand Sunny. And one batch called the Straw Hat Pirates. Doesn't even make grammatical sense but then that is all part of the fun. And there's a mystic tree in the middle of it all.
So, for some wonderfully bizarre escapism, a Japanese epic is perfect. If you want it all to make immediate sense, so play something else.
