POPULAR Grays rock venue the Fat Surfer has been given a facelift.
Coinciding with the venue’s new look is the new policy to lower the age restriction on clubnight to 16 plus.
Promoter Stuart Whiffen said: “We have spent a lot of money and put a huge amount of work into refurbishing the Fat Surfer and are totally thrilled with the outcome.”
Performances by Kerrang favourites Forever Never and INME aswell as an album launch party for Jackass star CKY’s new release have now been booked.
Two bands play live at the club on London Road every Friday night, followed by DJs playing a mixture of indie, electro and rock.
