ESSEX Wildlife Trust are inviting people to visit Chafford Gorges this spring to enjoy a number of events including a reptile walk and egg hatching.
Chafford Gorge Visitors Centre in Drake Road, Chafford Hundred, is running numerous events for families throughout the year including a packed schedule this Easter.
Events include: A Reptile walk on March 7, St Patrick’s day crafts on March 15. Mothers day crafts on March 21.
There will also be a Egg Hatching Eggstravaganza on March 22 where you can learn about the egg hatching process and monitor their development into chicks, with an opportunity to return at a later date to see them hatch and grow.
Easter Fun weekend is on April 11 - 12 with lots of fun games, trails and activities and a free Easter Egg Easter Arts Day is on April 13 and there is a St Georges Dragon making event on April 19.
Easter holiday activity sessions run from April 9 – 19 and include a fairytale trail, pond dipping, Easter Clay modelling and a tree trail.
The centre request a £5 donation for this event.
