WE would like to thank members for their patience while the building work has been going on at our Clarence Road headquarters. The snooker room is now finished and looks very plush and professional. There are a few bits to finish but hopefully it won’t be much longer. Marion’s quiz and the bingo night were well attended and everyone had a good time. We hope to see old and maybe some new members at our 100th anniversary weekend celebrations on August 14 and 15. Marion’s next quiz will be on September 11 and more competition for the regulars is always welcome.
