LEONARD Noel Lees, our grandfather whom we never knew married Margaret Ellis at West Ham Registry Office in 1914. They had a son John Geoffrey born 1915, twin boys, James Leonard Lees and David George Lees born 1922.

Leonard was a chauffeur and died in Nice, France 1928. David George resided at Ham, Kent died 1987.

We can find no trace of John Geoffrey and James Leonard.

Our mother was the illegitimate child of Leonard Noel and we would dearly love to make contact with anyone who knows anything about this family.

They originally came from Orsett, Essex. Our mother Jessamine Lees was born in 1908 at 49 London Road, Grays.
