OUR committee has met twice this year to plan events for local families with young children. Our January meeting took place at Coffee Republic in the new Health Village at Lakeside.

The manager showed the committee around and we discussed how the Health Village and Thurrock NCT could work together. Some of our future ante-natal classes will be held there and the Health Village is looking into other ways to support our work.

The committee is busy organising our next nearly new sale, which will take place on May 19 at Brandon Groves Community Centre. Details of how to register as a seller are on our website.

There is also an opportunity for local businesses to support our work by advertising in our newsletters or via flyers, which will be distributed at the sale.

We recently ran a very well attended babies and children first aid course.

If you would like to attend the next one please do get in touch. We are also organising another one of our popular Messy Mornings on April 1.
