THE February meeting of the club was well attended for the return of museum curator Jonathan Catton.
His talk was on 100 Years of Collecting and there were many illustrations from the Thameside Museum collection.
He also brought along some examples, including crested and commemorative china, which illustrated the history of the area which now makes up the borough.
The next meeting on the History of the Handbag by Sarah Shehadeh was due to be on Wednesday, March 7.
