THE club is giving away free lessons for those who would like to learn to play chess – adults and children. Chess is good for concentration, strategy, logic and learning, brain training for everyone, it’s also fun and you can meet other like minded people.

Our junior section is also going from strength to strength, so come along and try to beat your parents.

Anyone interested in a free lesson should come to any of the club nights, on Tuesdays at East Thurrock Community Assoc-iation, Corringham Road, at 7.30pm, and on Wednesdays at 7.30pm at the London Road Working Men’s Club, Grays.
