Leonard George CONNOLLY Florence, Daughter Valerie and Husband, Son David and Wife, 7 Grandchildren and 18 Great Grandchildren would like to THANK the Salvation Army and friends for the wonderful support and love that have surrounded them and helped them day by day. Our Grandaughter Major Michelle Huggins who conducted a wonderful service of celebration and thanks of a wonderful life of her Grandad. Also tributes from our Daughter, Grandaughter and Grandson. We would also like to thank the Bandmaster and Band for music, which Len played in for many years, the support of the Commanding Officer Captain John Parry and his Wife and so many more that have sent lovely cards with beautiful words. Thank you to everyone for their donations which will be divided between Salvation Army Overseas which are working in 129 countries now to help THOSE THAT HAVE NOT and Cancer Research which do wonderful work. Thanks also to West & Coe for excellent arrangements, District Nurses, All Staff at Thurrock Hospital, Orsett Hospital and Basildon Hospital in particular Osler Ward for the loving care from the Doctors and Nurses, where he peacefully passed away on our 72 nd Wedding Anniversary. We praise God for all those lives touched. We all miss him but life lives on forever. God bless you all
