Derek David MERCER Sadly passed away on 22nd October 2017 aged 82 Years. A much beloved Husband, Dad, Granddad & Great Granddad. Funeral service will be held at Corbets Tey Crematorium on Monday 20th November 2017 at 12.00pm, afterwards at Orsett Hall Hotel. Sincere condolences from the Family of Thomas Gosnall brother-in-law of John William Gosnall married too Lavinia Gosnall formerly Mercer. I am Albert Wm. Gosnall and was at Park School with Derek 1946-50 I was very much a “half-pint” and Derek kept an eye open on playground bullies! We shared an Aunt Lavinia Mercer who married my Uncle John William (Bill Gosnall).
