A WOMAN says she is "honoured" after winning a major beauty pageant competition and now hopes to inspire younger generations.

Daniella Brant, 26, of Witham, was crowned Miss Intercontinental England on May 4 following ten months of hard work.

She discovered pageantry after being scouted on social media and has spent the last eight years in the industry.

Alongside her pageantry work, Daniella is a business owner who runs Champion Dog Training UK.

The business provides aggression and behaviour training sessions to canines.

Over the years, Daniella has taken part in numerous national pageantries and has always ranked highly but never won before.

However, that has all now changed, after she was a finalist in this year’s Miss Intercontinental England in July, 2023.

Since that point she made appearances with her finalist sash, and even staged a dog show in aid of mental health charity Mind, which raised £1,215.

On May 4, Daniella went to the Radlett Centre, and met the judges, who wanted to hear about the work she had done over the last ten months.

Once the show kicked off, Daniella had to go through different rounds and perform a dance.

When it came to the crowning moment, she was stunned when her name was called.

She said: “I was so shocked, bawling my eyes out.

"The lady who crowned me is actually my best friend.

"It was an incredible experience, and I can’t wait to follow in her footsteps.

“I was overjoyed - I couldn’t believe it. I am still in shock that I will represent such an incredible country.

"It’s a huge opportunity and honour to have such a title."

Danielle will represent the country at the Miss Intercontinental international competition which will take place some time between October to December for three weeks.

Daniella now wants to empower women in male-dominated industries and inspire younger women to follow their passions.

She said: “Don’t give up on your dreams. At the right time you’ll be gifted with what you are working towards.

"I want to break that stereotype of what is expected, and help teach gender equality, to get rid of what women can and can’t do.

“I want to help set the right example, and teach younger generations you just need to do what you are passionate about.”
